Road Trip: Day 2

Completed 757 miles of our trip today to make up for some lost time yesterday.  It's late here at our Super 8, so this will be a quick recap of our asphalt adventures.

Today is Brandon's birthday!!!  We celebrate at a rest stop with an over-sized blueberry muffin topped with a matchstick as candle.

Jen wins mustache competition in less than 24 hours, after both sleeping and washing her face with it still on.

Successfully drove through 3.5 states:  Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa.  Everything west of Chicago smelled like moth balls and manure - yuck!

Experienced the "World's Largest Truckstop".  Three floors of pure rednecky goodness.  You've got to check this place out.




Next stop... Colorado!!
