Rock climbing

For whatever reason - and I'm not complaining - the cold winter weather decided to take a siesta this afternoon, and during its absence we enjoyed a wonderfully sunny 60 degrees.  Thankfully, I had the day off work and was able to *drum roll please* go rock climbing for the first time in a million years (aka 4 years).

I used to climb all the time in college (my major was Recreation & Leisure, after all), but after moving to back to NY I never seemed to find the time, the gear or the right group of people to go with.
That's no longer a problem, thanks to REI.

You can just make out the Denver skyline in the background!
TJ with his super cool lab - Will.  Seriously... SUPER cool.

By the end of the day, Will decided that laying on our climbing rope was much more comfortable than the ground. So we snuck in a few more climbs as the lights from downtown Golden came on and then moseyed down from the cliffs in the dark armed with our headlamps and flashlight apps.

It was a fun day.
