We found out today that Brandon was not accepted to Denver Seminary, and this news will finally close a very long chapter of us trying to following God on what we thought was a sure thing. Brandon's desire to go back to school for his Master's in Counseling through a licensure program started about 1.5 years ago and in every aspect it appeared that Denver Seminary was the place we were meant to be. So we pursued it and everything fell into place... for a while. Then, almost overnight, things went topsy turvy and the door seemed to be closing. After being quietly hushed away by their Admissions department, Brandon resolved to take his GRE's to strengthen his chances for reapplication the following Fall. Apparently, it didn't work. At least this time he received an official rejection notice instead of a curt little email with no explanation.
So where do we go from here? We still have our hearts set on Colorado, but is that where God wants us? Brandon's sitting behind me as we speak doing some research to find an answer. If you think of it, we'd greatly appreciate your prayers for guidance and wisdom as we take our next steps into the unknown.
