Brandon and I were invited by said uncle to join him and my two cousins at a concert in Brooklyn tonight. The venue was a not so little hole-in-the-wall venue situated in the middle of a sketchy warehouse neighborhood, and the band was called "Los Straightjackets." Having no expectations and nothing to go off of except UB's insistence that we're going to love it, we ambivalently entered the venue and found a spot close to the stage. Finally the lights go down, the band comes out, and... they're all wearing Nacho Libre style wrestling masks and suits! If that's not enough, as they start to jam away on their guitars and drums for an instrumental-only performance, they announce (in Spanish only) special "entertainers" on stage during their songs. Next thing we know, these burlesque ladies are performing acts such as belly dancing, tap dancing, and - oh yeah - STRIPPING. Hahaha!  With each new song, out came a new "entertainer" with white vinyl go-go boots, multiple layers of lingerie and perfectly positioned pasties! Between the band, the dancers, and the crowd (which was a show in and of itself), Brandon, me and my two cousins just laughed the whole night.  Of course, we also took lots of pictures and videos as proof of our accidentally scandalous escapade courtesy of Uncle Bobby!

No joke, this is them.  Los Straightjackets.
